Woodlands Park is a premium residential development in the heart of Blackrock, where every external detail was designed to reflect the quality of the homes and surrounding public realm. The client required a secure cycle parking solution that could be delivered within a demanding programme, while remaining flexible enough to accommodate evolving site requirements and a tightly controlled project budget.

Head-Wind worked closely with Turkington Rock to develop a practical, cost-effective solution without compromising on quality or appearance. Through an open and collaborative design process, the specification was refined to maximise value while maintaining the premium finish expected within a high-end residential scheme. The accelerated programme demanded rapid design development, manufacture and installation, ensuring the cycling facilities were delivered in line with the wider construction programme.

The completed installation comprises a bespoke 12-space Greenwich cycle shelter alongside a dedicated two-space cargo bike shelter, providing secure storage for both conventional and larger family bicycles. Finished in a powder-coated black steel framework with galvanised roof components, twin-wire security mesh and Signet Superlock access, the shelters complement the contemporary architecture of the development while providing residents with a durable, low-maintenance cycling facility designed for long-term use.
